Do you aspire to build planes and rocketships that zoom through the air or pushing the limit of the human body in competitive sports? Yes? Then the society has you covered. Designing high rises that touch the sky or building fast cars more your style? No problem.
The Engineering and Sports Science Society aims to bring together students of disciplines within the Swansea University College of Engineering. We provide a friendly environment for all students at any level to meet others sharing your passion as well as network with professional in the field. Each year we work closely with the other societies as well as professional companies to provide a broad range of socials and talks catering for a wide range of disciplines and levels.
We also run a mentoring scheme alongside the College of Engineering, paring senior students with Level 1 and 2 students to encourage knowledge sharing and peer support.
This year we already have a number of events planned. This includes a range of industrial trips, professional seminars; socials; including our awesome beach BBQ; and an interdisciplinary Engineering Sports competition. So make sure you sign up to the society and check out the event calendar to the right. To find out more about us, check us out in the Freshers' Fair or get in contact for more details.
